Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Warm feet

My daughter got me some of these for xmas and I've been using them for 8 days in Austria with temps down to -10'c where normally I would have numb toes but my toes have been comfortably warm all week, they have made a huge difference, they are not too faffy as I dont take them fully off, just fold them over enough to access the toe buckles.
The downside is that they have taken some damage as I am a fairly aggressive skier and I dont expect more than 4 weeks use out of them but less than £10 a week for warm feet is good by me

@tangowaggon, you know what, I saw a few of these in Cervinia this week and was begging for some yesterday. I have heated insole but have found my feet sweet even on the lowest setting, so I end up worse off. Might just have to grab some of these

I got a set of those for my kids and they're ace. It was cold enough at Xmas that my daughter used them in addition to heated insoles, they made a huge difference.

I bought some bootgloves, but my silly feet are so sensitive, I was in agony from the pressure of them - and I bought the right size. Boot warmers/dryers were my revelation, that's all I needed.

My feet, which are usually fine, have been really cold the last few days. Given that I don't have an old wetsuit handy in the Alps, but do have an old pair of salopettes, do you think the (pretty much waterproof and padded) salopette material would be worth a try?

Hoping @Mistress Panda will be along to resurrect the photos from that thread at some point, too......
