Hi all I'm a newbie to snowheads and looking to get away for a few days/week anywhere in Europe. The people I thought would go, can't for various reasons, so I'm looking for a ski buddy. I'm 49 male, quiet and easy going and an intermediate skier. Preferred dates are 17/2, 10/3, 7/4 & 14/4 from London airports. Can be flexible with the dates but I do need to stick to a budget because this was all a last minute kind of thing

Have you had a look at bashes? I can see 3 that would match your dates listed. They are very good value, because of the size of the group. And no shortage of ski buddies. Be warned - they are addictive!

Hiya I'm Paul and in a similar position, I normally go with my son but for various reasons he doesn't want to go again this season. The date I was looking at was the 17th Feb, to Europe from London. @Mark68, @pawade, I will be in Bansko from 17th to 22nd February. I have a three room apartment all booked in https://redenka.com/en/chalets.html. and a car is booked too.
However I am heading out from Geneva at around 1600hrs on 16th to arrive in Sofia around 8pm. Spend the night in Sofia then next day drive to Bansko. I previously had two ladies to join me but they have dropped out. One fell off a horse and the other cancelled due to work committments
I am a female half-decent intermediate skier in her 40s happy on blues & reds, the occasional black and a good apres-skier to boot .

@jangab73, this Thursday night for the weekend  Let me know if you're around?! I'm working on Friday, but skiing (and drinking) around it.
Will be there most of the time from 3rd Mar - 14th April too, then finishing with the EoSB!

Hi, this sounds like a lot of fun, and thank you very much for giving me all the details. I tend to book trips that have direct flights and transfers, and I can't go before the 17th anyway, but have a fab time and thanks again!

@pawade, There are direct flights from London Stanstead at 2pm [Ryanair] and Manchester 7.05am [EasyJet], and if you do arrive on the 17th Feb in Sofia, I'll already be there and , you will have a direct transfer as I have a car! I'm not trying to convince you but it really is that simple!
