Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi, we’re flying into and out of Calgary for a couple of weeks skiing/sightseeing , mid Feb. Previously done the Banff/Louise/Jasper route, also Banff/Kicking Horse/Fernie. It’s a special one this time - big birthday & retirement celebration...Any suggestion for a (pref circular) route that doesn’t involve more than about 4 hours driving at a time? We’re confident intermediates, no kids, & want to take in some more of the amazing scenery like we saw on the Icefields Parkway...We also want to take in a couple of other things esp wildlife spotting...any ideas pleeeeease??

lbc, Easily done, how many places do you want to visit is the question ? Banff - Kicking Horse - Revelstoke - Silver Star - Big White - Red mountain - Whitewater - Fernie - Castle - Calgary. All within 4hrs drive between. totally circular route and fun. We did it a few years ago, fine tuned it last season, and will do something similar again in a couple of years.

Its probably not for everyone though so Banff - Kicking Horse and/or Revelstoke - Whitewater and Red Mountain - Fernie - Castle - Calgary, would be less stressful and easier on the driving, so long as you hit the ferry between Revelstoke and Nelson favourably.

Watch out for wildlife on the roads and plenty of great scenery Madeye-Smiley
