Snow Reports
FAQ
Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Those for whom the forum name "Starli" is familiar, will have a hunch for what's coming here.
Just when you think what he did in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 could not be topped...
He just announced the serial of reports on the roadtrip he is doing this winter.
Here's a link to his 2016-2017 season overview. Some key figures, 71 resorts in 9 countries in 116 skiing days.

2016 - roadtrip via norway to the kaukasus

2015 - Macedonia, Kosovo, Greece and Turkey

2103-2015 a number of other roadtrips, amongst others to Sierra Nevada by car
Apparently these reports on skiing roadtrips to exotic resorts are some kind of contagious virus. My fellow countryman Frans also did a big trip to Georgia in 2016

But here comes the roadtrip that beats them all: all the way to China, via Norway. Google translated DE > ENG

Obviously
A snowHead
isn't a real person

Karakol, out of dozens of ski areas, the only one I knew before
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

, He'll have to pick a leap year for it to be the 'mother of all road trips'
Sounds fun though

English is not my mother tongue so I guess I miss the nuance or proverb here
