Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Car with room for 2 heading out to the Alps - Friday 26th Jan

We're off on another powder mission!
Does anyone fancy a road trip to the Alps at the end of January?

We are 2 serious off-piste snowboarders who like a good snow hols - but make no mistake
we're there for the snowboarding. We're not out till the early hours drinking in the local bars.

We have confirmed we'll be driving to the Beaufort region in the Alps on Friday 26th Jan.
There are 2 of us in the car, so we have room for another 2 - no matter if you are skiiers or boarders.
We'll share the ferry, fuel and accomodation costs.

- Leaving on the 8pm ferry from Dover, Fri 26th Jan
- Driving overnight to Beaufort (typically arrive about 10am on the Saturday)
- Returning the weekend of 3rd / 4th Feb (could be Saturday or Sunday)

- We may possibly have room in our self-catering accomodation for 2 people, if you want to be in Beaufort too
(Lift pass is likely to be included in the price of accomodation)

- Option to join us on a guided off-piste week (costs extra £500pp), or you can simply do your thing around
the Beaufort/Areches ski area if you are not keen to commit to the extreme.

Chuck me a private message or reply here if you are interested!

Did this happen? Well it sure did.

After 3 sunny days with pretty hard off-piste conditions the skies emptied a good foot of fresh at the bottom of the mountain, and even more up top. So the trip was a full mix of on-piste hard carving, exploring, hitting the snowpark, and finally riding the floaty smokey loveliness itself!
A local told us we'd hit the very best day of conditions of the season so far, as despite there being an absolute ton of snow since Xmas, warm temperatures had destroyed things soon after the previous snowfalls.

Obviously we have a load of video editing to do now, but here's a little snippet or two:
