Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Unexpectedly I have a spare week 6-13 Jan, and am wondering about my options/best places to find late offers. I've been pointed to skisunweb, prices look very good with the lift pass included, but can anybody suggest other operators to look at. I've flights into Geneva at the moment, but would be happy to change destination. Budget is £1000-1500 for the week all up. Don't mind catered but not willing to pay a big premium since I like eating out. Ski in/out would be a bonus. Avoariaz/Flaine, maybe Morzine, Les Gets are familiar and liked.

@Oobie38, try the 'solutions room' on the chalets direct website. You post what you're looking for eg near which airport, preferred resorts, catered or not , transfers, budget etc & the chalets come back to you. Have used it successfully a number of times as a solo skier looking last minute.

We have availability 7th - 14th Jan (or I might be able to do Sat dates in some chalets) and the price for the week is £399 pp fully catered with no single supplement for your own room.
