Poster: A snowHead

Hi
Weighing up (no pun intended) the cost of sending my skis via courier to be drilled etc. Can anyone recommend a cheap, reliable, insured courier and offer any advice?
Cheers lots

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

I have used this lot for sending luggage.....but I see they do Skis as well:
https://www.sendmybag.com/ski-shipping
They were helpful, efficient and cheap.....maybe worth a call, to see if it would work for you.
They pick up from your house and provide necessary labels.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@nosiesta,
interparcel (parcelforce)
Reasonably priced. Straightforward, reliable & insured. Used them a few times & never had any issues. Only used one way travel though.
May be useful to ask spyderjon about his use of such services, must have skis in and out daily.
Let us know how you get on, sure it'll be useful to know.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

https://uk.interparcel.com/ & use their UPS Economy service. Fully tracked & signed-for service with no 3rd party handlers. You'll get a bit of change from £21 for UK shipping of a pair of skis in the flat

Thanks all. Will check out Interparcel. Presume it goes up a bit when you add insurance/state value....
