Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Any info on "Sattel" not far from Zurich

I'm visiting my daughter, son in lawn and most important my 5 year old granddaughter for Christmas this weekend.
The ski venue will probably be Sattel Hochstuckli
I've been to the website but it does not give much away in the way of transformation.

We are after a fun day out in the snow, the most important thing is the fun bit for our little snow bunny "Elodie"

Is anyone familiar with this place?

@DrLawn, I cannot claim to be really familiar with the place - went once with some friends about 10 years ago so at that time our youngsters would have been about 7 or 8. It had enough to keep early learners occupied and worked well at that time. As I recall there was a gondola up from the valley (with revolving cabins I think) and then you are in the main bowl area. Most obvious lift at that time was a tee bar so that can be a bit of a challenge but they may have changed it. As I recall, you can start by going half way up it to begin with if you want. Later on went up to top of Hochstukli and there were some nice runs down from there.

There was a cosy cafe at the bottom of the tee bar mentioned above.

The year we went there was not enough snow to ski back down to bottom of gondola, which would have provided a bit more variety.

Of course I have no idea how proficient your 5 year old is!
