Anyone using them - what do you think of them ? 
Smallzookeeper - do you know if the calves on those go as wide as the Verse boots and if they are as comfy ?

obelix67, It's an X-wave. Much better boot than the verse, easy to adjust for your calfs.

I have tried a couple of salomon boots and the verse are really comfortable on a set of rentals just now - as I used to do weights my calves are still a relatively firm 51cm at their widest.....ankle is 28cm

I've got the 1080 boots. Bought then in Tignes this Jan from Snowtec/Precision/Favre sport. Fit like slippers great flex for my ability. I have fairly long and skinny legs and they seem to be one of a few boots where i couldn't stick my hand down the back when done up corectly. The Bottom two clips i have really quite loose and my feet do not move. I had to go back the once and get some padding put in either side of my achillies to hold my heel down. They are now perfect and look cool as!

I've got a five year old pair that have served me brilliantly. They are very stiff however - perhaps ideal for the more 'full figured' man like myself?!
