It's a scam. FB have been promoting it in Europe. About Us is a rip off of Summit Ski in US and claims to be owned by Amer Sports on the T&C's. Lots of chat on FB on French and Italian groups. One french guy has receieved an email from Amer confirming it's nothing to do with them and a scam.
There is more than one site, all very, very similar.

@stephen buck, if it looks too good to be true, it usually is. Anyone fancy trying them out on one of their Black Friday 'giveaway' deals?

@thunderer, hope it works out well for you and, if not, that the reclaim process through your credit card isn't too tedious.

It's under section 75 claims process so good luck with the reclaim.

When did you buy? They only created the web domain on Wed morning.
Creation Date: 2017-11-15T02:47:32Z
I would contact my credit card company right away. If you used the online form they could be simply key logging to get your CVV and other details to run riot just before Christmas with your details.

Yup..
A number of major online retailers (amazon for one) don't do avs checking so if they have your card details they can hit it hard with alternate delivery addresses. Amazon actually go even further down the list as they don't even check cv2 code for some purchases.

It amazes me how anyone could even consider ordering from a site like that. @thunderer, I really hope you didn't buy anything as all these scammers have done is harvest your credit card details.
A quick check of their terms and conditions shows they have copied and pasted (badly) from https://www.atomic.com/en-gb/terms-and-conditions including phone numbers for Atomics Registered Office.

@muddewater, so it seems if the scammers use thunderer's credit card details for a number of transactions each less than £100 he won't be protected....

I think that you would be protected for purchases made fraudulently but not for the initial purchase you made. Happy to be wrong on the latter.

You know it makes sense.

But if you have given your details away freely it becomes a little more difficult to prove fraud.

@muddewater, from your link
"What is Chargeback?
Chargeback allows you to reclaim money from your bank if a purchase isn’t delivered, a company you bought from goes bust or a service hasn’t been provided. It provides protection on debit cards, prepaid cards and credit cards, such as Visa, Amex and Mastercard, but is not legally binding .
With Chargeback, you have 120 days to make a claim and protection is provided for purchases under £100 (minimum £10 on MasterCard)".
The credit company also confirmed I would be covered if the goods are not delivered.
I have just checked my statement online and no mad spending spree, but I have cancelled purchase, and informed my credit card company and they will monitor the account.

@thunderer, chargebacks are completely different. There is a thing called liabilty shift, this depends on the customer transaction profile, the card transaction profile, the merchant transaction profile and the fraud profile. You are not guaranteed a refund.

@thunderer, you will be fine and it is a simple thing to become victim of. I was in India last year and my Card was cloned in the UK and I had to be on the phone to pay my hotel. I had a backup mind you. It is something that happens and is not something to worry about.
If your goods are delivered and are not genuine then you are okay. If not delivered then okay etc etc.

Personally, I'd be getting the card used blocked and a new one issued.

I am always dubious about anywhere that has no contract address or phone number & has copyright at the footer for the current year.
