When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

It’s a well-established medical fact that skiing knee to waist-deep powder for one day will extend your life by same....sometimes more if the snow is deeper.

Posted this somewhere the other day (forget which thread) after seeing Scarpa recommend it on FB. I think the chap is on to something but I'm not rushing out with lead in my shoes just yet!

Well worth subscribing or keeping an eye out on the various Salomon Youtube Channels (there used to be a few different official channels, including a specific 'FreeskiTV'.) The quality of the films is generally high quality and good viewing. I highly recommend watching the Eclipse one, following Reuben Krabbe (not sure on spelling) trying to get a picture of a skier in front of a solar eclipse.
