Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Dynfit Heel turret swap

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
OK, so this is probably a dumb question, or a "learning opportunity" as my teachers used to say!

I have a nice new pair of Dynafit Beast 14 (thanks SypderJon), with extra heel turrets, but I can for the life of me work out how to swap the turrets over. Can some one explain it to me? once I work it out I might make a quick you tube video to help others out ( assuming that I am not the only dummy who can't figure this out)

thanks

Unscrew the lateral release din screw (the 20mm dia silver headed screw) and remove the cap, spring and plunger. Use the thickest/widest flat driver blade you can find or you'll chew the slot up. You'll also need something to 'hook' out the plunger once the spring has been removed. The plunger is greased so has a tendancy to stick in there but it has hole in the middle so it's easy enough to find something to snag it with.

Then rotate the upper turret 180 degrees (facing rearwards) and the turret will then lift off vertically.

Simples! Toofy Grin

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?
