Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I fancy having a set of footbeds made next week. Anyone know of a good bootfitter I could use for the fitting.

Cheers

PG posted last year "I posted elsewhere that I'd just gone to Val d'Isère (Precision) to buy a pair cos the club here couldn't name a really good bootfitter in Les Arcs"

So unless someone has moved in it ain't looking that good, or if you have a car a short trip to Val D'Isere!! Are you down the M40 any time before you go? Solutions4feet could sort you out a footbed, PM CEM on here.

Greg

Yes, a decent bootfitter has moved in (although to Bourg St Maurice, rather than Les Arcs itself). PG has used him, and was impressed I believe. I'm sure PG will be along to give share his experience.

The custom boot fitter in Bourg St Maurice is Nevada Sports, it is half way along the road between the station and the Super U roundabout.

marc gledhill, Nevada Sports as Fogliettaz & rob@rar.org.uk, , has posted is an excellent recomendation. Proprietor is 'Jo-Jo'. Boot fitter to the French team for a long time. He will never be Mr. Charismatic, but he knows his boots! I used him when he was in Tignes Le Lac and recently in Bourg. I do my boots up in the morning and undo then in the evening. No need to open them at lunch or any other time. Very Happy Never in the field of human endeavour has that happened before! Very Happy

It is important to telephone first for an appointment. He speaks some English. You don't mention where in Les Arcs you are staying? If in Les Arcs 1600, take the Furniculaire down to Bourg St. Maurice. (If in Arcs 1800, take the navette to the Furniculaire)It's about 10-15 minute walk from the station in Bourg St. Maurice.
