Poster: A snowHead

Hi Folks,
Managed to persuade my gf, who's only had lessons at MK to come on a last minute trip to Sainte Foy with me. We booked on a whim yesterday and travel on Tuesday 21st for 4 days.
We're flying to Geneva but from their it all seems quite a hassle, with multiple changes etc. Any advice?
It seems like a train to Chambery, bus to BSM (but even these seem to be very irregular according to google?) then struggling to find a connection from there. Any advice much appreciated
Thanks in advance.

Hi Lost
You should be able to take the train to Chambery (probably via Cointrin station, free train shuttle to it from the airport but pick the ticket in the baggage hall) change trains at Chambery (small station very easy) on to BSM then take a bus to Ste Foy (buses leave from just outside BSM station)
Look at the Swiss railways timetable fahrplan.sbb.ch/bin/query.exe/en and then local BSM bus timetables. We have used this combination a few times but not the last couple of years.
Some one with greater/more recent knowledge than I will hopefully come along soon

Try altibus.com, they leave Geneva on the 21st at 1215, 1530 and 1915, you will be on a coach from Geneva to Bourg where a taxi will be waiting for you to take you to St F (organised by them and included in the price). Various times for you return journey (which you will have to reconfirm in resort or by phone to ensure the taxy arrives to take you to Bourg.

Thanks All, what is the price difference between getting a transfer via bus / getting a train? Sorry for all the questions, first time in France.

@Lost123, Don't know what the train would cost, but the Altibus is about €140 return each. Given you would still need a taxi from Bourg the Altibus it is not going to be that much more, if the times suit. It will also be a lot less hassle. A private minibus is going to be in the order of €550-600 return.
