Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone had any experience with the above knee pads? Looking to protect my rather battered knee caps after 10 years of bad snowboarding, biking and diy'ing!

@Strax, Not had experience with the X D30. However I got a pair of 661 Comp AM Knee Guards £32 and they are brilliant - I feel really confident and comfortable when I have them on. The Rage is the more expensive version, however I have not tried them out. Good luck.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Both my wife and I use the Demon X D3O for snowboarding. They are comfortable and I had no issues wearing them all day long.

They certainly protected the knees well on a number of falls in Jan when in 3 Valleys.

Mate bought them and was impressed with them overall but they came up small even though he went along with the sizing chart. As they ran out of XL he had to go with a different pair.

Thanks guys. I got the xl pads and have used them for 3 days. Didn't know they were there but they certainly make falling less painful, and kneeling.
Thanks for the help.
