If the flight is to Gatwick you are okay. There is no mixed fleet (it is the mixed fleet crew [MFC] that are striking) working out of gatwick. If it is heathrow then there is a risk. More soon.

I'm getting fed up with the multitude of strikes in this country, and I'm struggling to find much sympathy given the regularity of them (particularly given the Southern Rail debacle over the past year).
Can open, worms everywhere, I know. Meh.

Yep it is BA's downward spiral to a cheap budget airline (no surprise given the CEO of BA).
However, the argument goes both ways. Normal BA crew get a good salary but new MFC get poor salary. Some may say that they knew the contract (which is fair) but I just don't like the fact it was offered in the first place.

Where from? MFC only fly from LHR (LGW is okay) and it is only MFC. Not all flight destinations are crewed by MFC. If ZZZ posts then they seem to be an insider so can tell you what is what.

@GlasgowCyclops, LHR unfortunately. Booked last July as a great deal ~£350 return for 4 of us , so a refund won't help much and we'll be screwed on the car hire. We often drive and beginning to wish we'd decided to again this time.
