Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

UCPA price increases?

Was looking at UCPA holidays/ski weeks last night. I know that the rubbish exchange rate has a 15% or so impact compared to the last two years, but asides from that the ski weeks seem to have have gone up quiet a bit. An off piste week in Val d'sere is 1150 euros? Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the overall prices hikes compared to last year??

Looks to be cheaper to do a DIY trip this year.

Yup noticed prices were up, have been increasing a bit y-on-y.
Inflation, FX movement and also it is WAY more popular than it was a few years ago, and the clientele is older/richer and seeking more comfortable accommodation (refurbs and increase in twin rooms).

I doubt you can do 4 days of off piste guiding for < than UCPA prices unless you can get mates rates on guiding?#

I still think something like Argentiere UCPA Ski Off Piste High Mountain - Expert for £872 is a cracking price.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

That's for sure. Was looking for first week of March and pretty much nothing (of interest) left at all. Last two years I have booked a week prior and still had a good selection to pick from. Looks like a DIY trip this year maybe!

Yep UCPA has been getting more popular but to be honest we've always booked well in advance to get the right deal and NYE had to be wrapped up by September.
