Poster: A snowHead

Hi
I recently moved to Ireland from the U.S . I am looking to book a cheap ski trip to Val Thorens from either Ireland or the U.K ?
Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.
Best Regards

@Galwaymet, welcome to Snowheads
When are you planning to go? Early February through to end of first week of March, is school holidays and both busy and expensive. If you can travel in the next couple of weeks, or after mid-March, you'll have cheaper options. Flights from Ireland can be difficult on a package, so perhaps see what flights cost to Geneva, Grenoble, Lyon and the cost - if you're on your own, a transfer can also cost. Let us know your circumstances, and we can help a bit more

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

directski.com are doing a few cheap trips with direct flights to Lyon from Dublin at the minute but rely on you filling an apartment with four. Anyway, the flights are scheduled flights so you might end up being able to do it cheaper yourself.

Thanks for the advice .
My wife and I plan to go in the next couple of weeks or mid march .
We do not mind doing a stop over in london or somewhere else if it means big savings.
We will also be renting equipment at the slopes .

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Toplight.ie can do seven nights from Dublin on 18 March in a self catered apt for €599 which doesn't feel too bad. Are you stuck to Val Thorens?

Hey there,there's a group of 4 driving over to Bozel (just outside of Courchevel) on the 3rd of March, getting back the following Friday. There are spaces in the bus and chalet, check out skicourchevel.net for more details.
It's £275 for 5 nights, if you'd like any more info feel free to drop me a line.
