Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Googles on Sportpursuit

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Seems to be a good few deals on Sports Pursuit.

Bluetribe framless googles with spare lense. Never heard of them but look okay at a reasonable price.

Electric Visual EG3.5 Goggles - known brand, again with spare lense

Zeal Optics Z3 GPS - Unreal price considering what they retail for, although i'm to be convinced on the GPS.

Has anyone used any of these? Or should I just get some Oakley Flight Decks like I was planning to?

I was given a pair of the Zeal camera goggles. The image quality on the camera doesn't compare with a gopro etc but they are very nice goggles if slightly bulkier than usual. The optics are good. Haven't tried the GPS ones but imagine as goggles they are nice.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Mate had Electric goggles - very nice, good while they lasted, but after a couple of years the coating started flaking off the lens.

I've taken delivery of a pair of the "Bluetribe Ultra" goggles but I wont be using them until next week. First impressions seem like they are of good solid quality but I'll pop a gear review up when I get back.

Anyone know if the Zeal goggles can be worn with glasses? I have a suspicion not since the are described as medium fit

@Posidrive, Depends on the model - look for "OTG" in the description somewhere.
If you want a recommendation, I wear glasses to and recommend Oakley Canopys for fit, quality, very few fogging issues and field of view is excellent.

@Dzmarc, Very quick to change. They are attached with very strong magnets. The lenses provided were Cat 1 & Cat 3 but I haven't removed any of the protective coating yet! snowHead

I bought some good quality low viz goggles online. Do the job but do not think I would have bought them from a shop as the fit is not 'comfy'. If you can try those goggles in a shop or happy to return them .... go ahead

yep, I was looking at the goggles on sportspursuit - some very nice ones at a good discount (the electric visual and bluetribe ultra looked really nice). But I must resist, as I don't need another pair at the mo Happy

Got on very well with the Bluetribe Ultra Goggles. They definitely feel narrower than some brands but that sensation soon went away.
The magnets are incredibly strong. The picture below was after taking an unceremonious face plant and there was no sign of the lens shifting!
