Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Snow bombing

Am possibly looking to attend snowbombing this April but was wondering if the skiing is actually any good at that time of year? Any feedback from those with experience of the event would be appreciated. Thanks

eeehhhh mmmmhhhh it is ok but for all the times I've been in mayrhofen around that time...late march its gets quite slushed up and pushed by the afternoon and lets face it if you have been up till 3/4am partying you won't be getting up for the 8am lift!

I've considered it a few times but always decided i value my skiing to much to stay out all night so will just go to a seperate music festival

Been to Da Hoff every Easter since 2001, almost always had good to great conditions and powder days on more than ten of the years. Pics are on a thread here somewhere.

Generally speaking temps in the village will reach into the low 20s in the late afternoon then not uncommon to snow overnight.

However snowbombing is not what is was in the early years.

Hey everyone.
I have been skiing a good few times and I am looking for ski groups to tag along with some days as my friend is a beginner. She is going to get some lessons on the dry slopes in the uk before snowbombing, but I am tempted to reccommend ski school on the real slopes to her. Laughing
Ski and party all day.. cannot wait.
Skiing will be grand near the glacier...even if it means taking a bus!
