Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

tp023, A few criteria might help.

Try Fernie. That' a great resort, I really loved it. It's in Canada though, might be abit far if you're only planning a weekend trip - see what I mean?

The "resort report" alpahbetical index might be a good place for you to start.

Thanks, it'll be at least a week long trip. I'll have a look over the resort guide.

Hi,
Say up to £900 per person. Should be about 8 of us. At least 7 days up to 11/12 days. Bit of nightlife would be nice. Varied ski level people going so need a nice range of challenges from advanced to people who've only skied once or twice.

tp023, Was Arabba a bit quiet for you or about right? Could you list the major resorts you guys have been to?

 snowHeads are a friendly bunch.
snowHeads are a friendly bunch.
Arabba was a bit too quite.

Most have already been to St Anton, Val d’Isere, Meribel, Courchevel.

Zermatt sounds interesting. Was thinking maybe Fernie & Kimberley. Any thoughts?

All male group aged between 30 & 50.

tp023, You should definitely come here - very lively night life - 220 kms of piste - many unmarked blacks (more black slopes than anything else actually - don't believe the piste map). Several nice places you could stay, and nothing like the other French resorts you've mentioned. If you have transport you can ski 2 days at ADH (350km piste) and 1 day at Serre Che to boot. La Grave is usually open by then as well.......... early intermediates are OK here as are beginners - it's the middle "traveller" who finds it awkward. Very Happy

tp023, Have a look at our website www.skialacarte.co.uk (sorry forgot to pop it onto my earlier post) and get in touch if you think it could be suitable. We are happy to give special prices to Snowheads - particulartly when it is so far in advance!
