How is that so many of these pictures look like Saalbach? That really does look like the piste leading easterly from the summit of Schattberg Westgipfel. I realise it probably isn’t.

Early season in PdS - seem to recall a fence like that - is it the Didier Defago run or coming off of Pointe des mossettes or Pointe de L'au?

Looks odd, maybe coastal, somewhere remote - however that's a serious unprotected fence to have an argument with which makes me think not USA.
Somewhere peripheral to Europe's ski centres, how about Norway - Hemsdal?

The valley on the left of the picture could be the Inntal (?) so picture could be Fügen or top of a Kaltenbach?

None of those, plenty of guesses in the correct country now.
This picture was taken on opening day of the season which that particular year was December 12th, most years opening day is way earlier

That was a bit lucky. I've always thought it looked like an interesting ski area. Was originally hoping to get there this coming winter but will probably be cancelling

'foto' is Italian I think.
Dont know Italy skiing but it looks like an actual town (church) not a purpose built 'resort', also it's too gentle looking for French or Swiss border areas, guessing further east, say Andalo Paganella?
