Hi,
Can anyone recommend ski and snowboard lessons in Zell am Ziller for a 7 year old? She'd like English speaking and a small group (6-.
Thanks.

I'm also looking for ski school in Zell Am Ziller for our 3 kids (7, 5 & 4 yrs). We're going to be out there at February half term..
I'm guessing you've seen the website info.. https://www.zillertalarena.com/en/zell/winter/zell-kids.html?bl=/en/arena/winter/kinderskischule.html
Skischule Arena seems to have the only English website so think we are going to give them a try. Presumably if mentioned when booking they will
arrange an English speaking instructor... (hopefully!) Last year we went to Westendorf and they all got an English speaking instructor there..

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hi, yes we're also there Feb half term (from Fri 17 Feb - not sure it's the same week as everyone else!).
We've looked at the Skischule Arena website and they were recommended by our accommodation lady. I also contacted Skischule Pro Zell, who said they have English speaking instructors.
I think my daughter (7) is a bit unsure about going in case she's the only English speaking child. Given that we arrive on the Fri, I was wondering about waiting until we go there and going to see them. I guess they will know then who else is booked.

We will be there the same week as you then, we arrive the day before on Thurs Feb 16th!
Our eldest son (7) has only had the one week away last year, but he was competent on blues and skiing the odd red run as well. Our younger son (5) and daughter (4) were on the nursery slope last year but this year the blue runs await! We are thinking they will be in a group together but apart from our eldest. We are lucky enough to live near the Chill FactorE so the kids get to practice regularly at least.
Depending on what standard your daughter is it sounds like there is potential for them being in the same lessons. We have only made that one enquiry so we haven't booked anything yet.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

That's good to know. My daughter has skied for a few weeks but would say she's similar standard to your son. She didn't do any ski lessons last year, just a couple of snowboard lessons, so her technique didn't improve at all (hence wanting lessons this time!).
I would imagine she might want to get on a snowboard again later in the week!
We're also in the NW

No recommendations, but in my experience, I huge proportion of the instructors have decent English, particularly in the german speaking ski nations and its very rare in half term week not to find another English kid in your class. But good luck with the class size being small, that and the week before are peak weeks. that said numbers often tail off as the week goes on.
