Poster: A snowHead

The ski club website just isn't the same anymore. Each time I log on, the majority of threads are from whoever is left having a one sided argument with the ski club who aren't responding. The whole thing has gone to pot. I have a horrible feeling we can debate all we like on their forum, but as time marches on, a reversal seems more and more unlikely.
The forum (and me) badly misses all the fun, helpful, witty contributors.

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Well, if they've taken their ball away, come and play with us instead

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Bev,
You're welcome here...
As long as you wear a knee length skirt, and don't expect to post on Saturdays (men only).
You are allowed to post on Thursday mornings between 6.30 and 6.32. (Lady's morning - we're not neandrathal chauvinists here)
You are also allowed to use the car park, but not the President, Secretary or Captain's spaces.
On competition days you aren't allowed to play, including Captain's Day.
Please ensure that is you see any men playing behind you, that you wave them through, and under no circumstances should you play with other's balls.
Yours Sincerely
Major Sir Gerry Penn-Ding (Retired)
Secretary, SnowHead Golf Club

I'm sorry...your rules aren't really clear. Shouldn't we also wear knee length socks and appropriate footwear. Can you clarify the times when ladies are allowed in the locker room and 19th hole? And surely we can only play when accompanied by men who can oversee that we behave with proper decorum at all times?

Major Sir, you are too close to the truth, I am "a lady" member of a golf club and I like ladies things like nice skirts and short socks and flowers (sorry, I'm a Little Britain fan) and of course I always let the men through and never play with their balls.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

I believe that all those who understand what they're doing with such things have the matter in hand. I haven't got a clue myself, but I'm sure someone will explain. Either send a pm to admin or post in the development forum asking them to explain. I just am trying to sort out a few legal bits now the site is taking off so quickly.

I've been a bit of a "lurker" on the SCGB site in the past couple of months - but it's pretty dead now - lurking there isn't nearly so entertaining and interesting as it used to be. Much better over here!

Nice to find you all again, the ski club site has become very boring.
