Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

PDS liftpass for a 4 year old

HelloHas anyone skied in Avoriaz, or elsewhere in PdS, with an under 5? It's free for under 5s but I assume he will still need a card to get onto lifts.
I can't order one online (maybe I need to show his passport to get a free pass?) do I need to buy one in resort? Will he need a photo?
The plan is pick him up after his morning ski-school and find restaurants on greens and gentle blues to ski with him for lunch. Any general tips for skiing in Avoriaz with very young children very appreciated. Thanks.

No you don't need a pass. They just go under the turnstiles.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@doddsie thanks for your reply but are you sure?? We had to get him ski passes last year (different resorts) even tho they were free.

I got the same answer last year in the Skiwelt. I was dubious about my boy ducking under the barriers but nobody batted an eyelid.

Yes my 4 year old daughter did 5 weeks in the pds last year and never got questioned once. I've bought her a season pass this year as she's 5 just after christmas, but I'm sure if I hadn't she could have got away with it all this year as well.
