Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Moutiers Altibus toddler question

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Can anyone tell me if I need a car seat to take an 18 month old on the Altibus transfer from Moutiers to Val Thoren ??

I can not see any info about it on their website.

Thanks in advance.

@jimmy38, Interesting one. All of the Altibus runs I've taken up to VT have been in coaches fitted with seatbelts. My understanding of the french rules is that if it has seatbelts, you must wear them. The flip side is that an adult seatbelt is completely useless to an 18 month old.
Perhaps contact Altibus directly. You need to know if the belts on board are going to fit your carseat.

 Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

If Altibus aren't very forthcoming, give "BensBus" a shout as well. They frequently piggy back their bookings onto Altibus routes and would have some sort of working relationship with them...

@jimmy38, I don't think they'll provide car seats.

@jimmy38, do you get the option to book a separate seat for the toddler?

thanks everyone,

there is only option to book for adult or child but does not state what age the child is / needs to be?

I have ended up booking a taxi now, managed to get a return taxi with child seats for only 40 Euros more than the bus.
