Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Tignes is currently looking very white down to Les Brevieres at 1500m.....Hopefully that's the resort covered until next May!

I'm so excited - and I just can't hide it. I'm about to lose control - and I think I like it Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Random other cam viewings are showing snow in Verbier and the Dolomites, though not so much in Obergurgl. The Lecht in Scotland has a decent covering too, which means Cairngorm and Glenshee will be snowy as well - although their webcams are currently down.

Feeling ridiculously overexcited by the sight of a little bit of white stuff. Now, it just needs to stay there for the next six weeks so I can ski on it.

@mountainaddict, I am with you. A cold snap with some snow in early Nov is a good thing. The cold snap is forecast to last at least a week. If someone is not excited about the coming of winter and that you will be out on the slopes soon then it is a mindset I do not understand. This is a glass half full moment that has brightened my Sunday morning Very Happy

First complaint of the season - this morning we need to walk through snow (on the ground and in the air) on our walk to the station at Täsch (at 1450m just below Zermatt). Now that is the sort of complaint I want first week of November.
