Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Christmas with the extended family

Poster: A snowHead
I am looking for recommendations for an extended family trip at Christmas 2017 (not this year!). Early planning i know !!, but keen to start looking at options as we have a bit of a mixed group which means I need to not only consider the skiing early season but also facilities beyond the slopes. We would be a mixture of complete beginners (kids), some low intermediates (adults and kids) and some more advanced adults, the tricky bit is we will also have some 'older' non-skiers in the group (in their 70's). We would want to self cater and ideally be in the same accommodation rather than a couple of separate apartments so we can all eat together in the evenings. This might mean we are limited to France as they seem to have more self catering. What are your thoughts? Must be snow-sure, ideally large self catering properties than have beds for 12-15 people and something to do/ see beyond skiing. Les Arcs is a probable no as we have been there for the last couple of years but it did tick all the boxes!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

This Company has larger apartments, with 5 - 6 bedrooms in France. http://www.chalet-altitude.com/en/

I struggled to find large s/c accommodation for our extended family, it seems to be a bit of an unusual requirement! We`ve stayed in their apartments at the other two but not Val Thorens.
