Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Base repair needed - london

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hey all,

I borrowed my housemates skis and sadly gave one a nice little core shot on the last run of the holiday on a piste down to Loop in Tignes. Typical! I need to fix them up, the more central to London the better!

I could fix it myself but I don't think my housemate will be happy with my sloppy finishing. I saw an older thread recommending ski bartlett in uxbridge but it's a 90 minute trip there so would rather not if I can avoid it.

There must be a Snow & Rock or Ellis Brigham within reach.

FWIW.I have dealt with Colin at the S&R Chertsey branch and found him very helpful.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@Timmaah, ...post up a photo...I repair core shots quite frequently ... can sometimes be done with a ptex candle, but all depends on the nature and location of the damage - sometimes fine, sometimes not...

Someone has recommended this chap recently

and there was a thread a while back with someone in London broadcasting his services, if I come across it I'll post it.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Came across this, not the other one I was thinking of, but if recommended by spyderjon then must be the business.
