I've often thought it would be fun to meet nixmap, and masque as well.
In all seriousness I would try to be there.
We could get our chalet person to drive, we'd even let her join us on the slopes.
The rooms look simple, yet very inexpensive by Swiss standards (which is not inexpensive by UK standards sadly!).

I guess I would take the whole place and then dish out the rooms on a first come first serve basis - Rack rates and any surplus goes into the booze bill. My reservation risk.
Open to suggestion about segregating the the dorms.

@nixmap, it's hardly pedantic when it affects the meaning of what you type. I find the thought of multiple Nixmaps quite concerning.....if there are multiple Nixmaps, perhaps there will no longer be enough staff to satisfy all their requirements.

Just looked at this. Weird place. The rooms are 5 doubles (nice), a 6 person room with single beds (tolerable for a few days) and an 8 person and a 10 person room, both with bunks. No thanks. That's not a hotel, that's a bunkhouse.
Food sound good though. I'd have the

Sadly I won't be able to due to prior (skiing) engagements with my family - a pity as I haven't skied in the part of the world since I was very young and would love to have returned.

Reminds me of the old Schneekar Hutte in Mayrhofen before the remodelling. They had Austrian fours and an eight in the attic. I woke up one morning in the eight that I was sharing with one friend to find him snoring an inch from my face in a green mummy bag like some great mutant slug.
Nixmap, I won't make it but hope you have a great time. Ignore the sniping, they're just jealous.

@nixmap, I'm not sniping. It's just that I, and I would imagine a lot of people, wouldn't spend my holiday time and money to sleep in a bunkhouse. Not even to visit my best friends.
I also wouldn't invite anyone to spend a holiday with me and expect my friends to do this.
But I hope you all have a great time and nobody falls out.

In contrast I'd be more than happy to stay in a bunkhouse if it was with mates for a laff (provided I was a bottom & strictly no prison rules) but I'd want to ensure that the people with me were a laff and not just wind up/strop merchants.
