Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Mountain hotels - suggestions?

Hi all, we are heading to Lech next year March for a week and normally add on about 3 days prior for smaller resorts before our weekly ski trip. (Coming from South Africa we have but one and a half week of skiing per year!).

I am looking for something nearby Lech (but not same ski pass as Lech, want to experience somewhere else as well prior to Lech) - does not have to have to many runs as it's just for 3 days - but looking for a hotel in the mountains / on the slopes. Somewhere where one has views, can start skiing directly in the morning and which has a bit of apre ski so we don't miss out not being in the village. Was looking maybe at Damuls / Mellau - any suggestions?

We stayed in the Berghotel at Zell am See last year which was stunning - looking for something like that (if anyone knows it) or any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Don't mind if it is cut off from the Village at night as long as the hotel has a pub where we can have some vino after the day on the slopes.

Thanks guys!
