Hi All,
Just a quick first post to say hi and introduce myself. I'm still fairly new to skiing (back from my first time recently), although it seems skiing's not new to me!
I wasn't sure what to expect from my first skiing holiday, I could have failed it, but instead... I nailed it! A friend of mine described me as a bit arrogant when I told him I was opting for the advanced skis on my first try. I did actually chicken out of this decision and went for beginner skis. Probably could have handled them though.
I was impressed with my performance, and I think all the other skiiers were too. In fact, as soon as I touched tarmac back home, I spoke live on air to my local radio station!
