Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski equipment storage in Ski Amade

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi, I'm looking at giving Ski Amade a go for the coming winter. This will probably mean 3 weeks and 4 weekends across the season staying at a different base each time. We have our own kit and it seems pointless / expensive to lug it back home after every trip.

Does anybody know if there is self storage within the Ski Amade, ideally centrally that I could rent for 4-6 months to store the gear.

Thanks in advance

@dhorst, You used to be able to hire ski lockers at the Planai West (Golden Jet) base station for the season. Not sure of price but did think about it myself in the past.
Not sure if was ever available at main base in town.

Edit : referring to Schladming of course.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

If it were me, I would either ask your accommodation provider for each trip if they wouldn't mind storing it somewhere safe ( probably where you're staying next ... ), or book your equipment in for a service and ask the shop if they wouldn't mind hanging on to it for a while.
