Hi, has anybody got any good links for large resort opening dates ie espace'killy, arlberg etc. Everywhere I have looked still have 15/16 dates. Cheers

Ski resort area is open from october 22nd to november 1st, 2016 and from december 3rd, 2016 to april 29th, 2017.
Also open for summer skiing on glacier from 18th June to end August.

@WASHOUT, be aware of course that "fully open" is entirely weather dependent...
Most areas I expect are still in clean up and maintenance mode and won't have evn thought about opening dates (with the exceptions of summer opening dates).
Chamonix I would expect to have penciled in full opening 17.12.16 and closing Grands Montets 30.04.17. With weekend openings the few weekends before.

@yuppie, +1. Opening dates for Norwegian and Swedish resorts varies hugely from year to year - usually late November, but can be as early as late October and as late as first week in December. Anyway, even if they are open, there won't be much mileage early on - resorts will typically open only a small number of runs to start with.

Above 2000m = 1st week of Dec;
Above 1500m = 2nd week of Dec;

Tignes Glacier open 25 Jun - 7 Aug for summer skiing, it then reopens on 1 Oct 16. The espace killy will open on 26 Nov - the weather elves will decide how much of the resort will be open.......

Yeah I understand opening dates are weather depending and some resorts even open early on their advertised dates. But I remember coming across a Web page with all the dates which was pretty handy.
