Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Last Minute Deal - Preferably Austria

 Poster: A snowHead

Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances our friends have had to pull out of the skiing holiday we were due to take at the end of Feb. Sad We are now looking for a last minute bargain for the end of Feb, either in a hotel or chalet but preferably Austria, although we would consider anywhere. If anyone has any useful links, or suggestions for TOs with some good bargains we'd really appreciate it.

Mark Warner usually have some reasonable last minute deals. The Rosanna is adults only, and has two days of ski guiding. Generally Mark Warner drop their prices a month before departure, and then drop them some more on the holidays that haven't sold out four days prior to departure.

Ski World also have a long list of last minute bargains and they're generally reliable, although not particularly luxurious.

Kramer, Thanks I will check those out Very Happy I have just had a quick squiz at Last Minute.Com and Paul Mason's suggestion of Crystal, and not found anything as yet, although there is still plenty of time as we probably won't book until we return from Zermatt on the 2nd Feb.

IncogSkiSno, have a look at www.miquelhols.co.uk - it is no harm seeing whether thay have any last minute deals. Would recommend the Hotel Wildbad in Bad Gastein. See the deals section - currently none for the Wildbad but £399 at the Tannenburg, dep. 4/2/06 is not too bad Cool

Have gone away with www.igluski.com last few years - they make the arrangements but it could be any of the big tour ops - on last minute deals have had some amazing bargains in previous years. Don't bother with the website search its usually out of date - phone them up. They seem to employ people that actually ski which is always a bonus when it comes to discussing resorts...
