Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Geneva to Annecy transfer

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
We are planning to go to Annecy for a week or two in summer and - unusually - will be flying instead of driving. We don't really want to hire a car as we are unlikely to use it much, if at all, when there so are looking for public transport or transfer options. The train seems like a bit of hassle with luggage (two changes and around 3 hours for a 40km trip), so I've emailed the bus company as there doesn't seem to be a timetable for that part of the year (yet?) but have also found this www.genevashuttle.com Has anyone used this service or have any other suggestions please?

TIA

Why would you not use a car? Where are you planning to stay?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@pam w, we are likely to be in the old town so no immediate parking and plan to cycle and walk but stay in and around town. The cycle path goes right around the lake.

50€ for transfer between Geneva and Annecy is really expensive compared to the much longer journey to resorts. Assuming that is per head one way? No I don't have a better suggestion!
