@under a new name, exactly. Cola cubes are red (aren't they?), So you get red vodka which tastes like cola.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Caramel Vodka - started in La Petite Auberge in Brides back in Jan 2010 when I spent a month staying in Brides. Make my own at home now one part caramel syrup (coffee type or buy in France) to 5 or 6 parts Vodka. Mix can vary depending on the quality of both the vodka and the syrup

+1 for Leffe, one of the few lagers with enough taste to satisfy a real ale drinker abroad!

I've a post somewhere on here about something like a toffee apple calvados warm spiced apple juice that I found in Mottaret a few years back - fab
Tried to recreate it at home and managed to smash one of the 2 unused Irish Coffee glasses that were wedding presents 20 years ago . Thought they were supposed to take hit drinks ?

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Glayva is my skiing tipple. Perfect for the hipflask or my Leki Hot Shots poles.
Rarely drink it off the slopes unless I'm in severe snow withdrawal
