Any one heading up here over the Easter weekend? Hoping to get a few days away up here, hoping the weather and snow plays ball.

I'm thinking about Glenshee or Glencoe.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@GlasgowCyclops never been to Glenshee, hear it's quite good, might head over there for a day from where I am staying at Loch Insh.

If your at Loch Inch then Cairngorm is a no brainier. However, i find it boring. have you been to Glencoe?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@GlasgowCyclops Yes, tried it last year over the May bank holiday, but was not very impressed with the state of some the tows and pistes, even though the snow depths were better, the rocks were hellish! Also takes forever to get up top!

Go to Nevis then. Only slightly further than Cairngorm from loch Insh. Has faster tows, wider pistes and larger vertical than Glencoe and none of the queues of Cairngorm.

Yes, that's another option I was looking at, also has some nice off piste stuff too I am told in the back cories.
