Just a quick word of praise before hitting the slopes... from down in Bourg St Maurice have just talked to nbt up in rob@rar's apartment in Arc 1800. Must be a good couple of miles as the crow flies, it's still snowing, and nbt was indoors I think.

Yeah, they have a great range, particularly if there's no obstacles in the way - I've used mine between Whistler and Blackcomb midstations, when half of the group was on the wrong mountain for lunch...

Well ours certainly reach between C1850 and C1650 with no problem. The only trouble normally is finding a frequency that isn't being used by about 30 other people

These are great - especially with my family who I can't keep up with!
Range seems to work all over the mountain at our main ski area - alpine meadows in lake tahoe.
