Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Transfers Geneva to Belle Plagne

Looking for advice on best option for 2 people getting from Geneva Airport to Belle Plagne please.

Have looked at both Altibus & Bens Bus but can't find reviews for this journey. Private transfers too expensive - unless anyone knows better.

Grateful for any advice, comments etc.

I've never used Ben's Bus but feedback here is pretty good. Altibus is reliable. You do need to book, either way.

The buses are not super cheap. Hiring a small car is sometimes not a bad option but in Belle Plagne it wouldn't be much use once you get there, would it?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

CLG60, welcome to Snowheads.
Unfortunately, like many others before, you have discovered that although Geneva has lots of flights, it is not the best entry point to the French alps unless you hire a car .
There is a train station under the airport, but its only really only any use for accessing Swiss resorts.

Another time, a much better bet is Lyon.
About the same distance from the Tarentaise by car, but with easy inexpensive rail access to many French resorts.
There is a convenient rail station by the airport, but trains from there to ski resorts are infrequent and expensive.
But a quick 14€ tram ride into town, and the main Lyon station has lots of good value trains to lots of French ski resorts: Aime La Plagne for 25€.
