Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

It's always worth a few minutes' research before booking skis online. (Tignes, a couple of weeks' time.)
I know I was ridiculed here a couple of years ago for not booking with Skimium with a Decathlon card as they were massively cheaper. They now seem to be much more expensive than the competition.
My usual favourite -
Alpinresorts
- has introduced a new surcharge of €10 if you want to be able to change your skis during the week. Seriously?
So
Snowbrainer
it is, as they don't have this surcharge (though they're €1 more). (Unless anybody has any better intelligence?)

Snowbrainer
is usually the most competitive! I have used snowell.com on a couple of occasions when in Austria......certainly worth doing a comparison
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Worth doing a quick comparison. We used
skiset
last trip. Previously I found they teneded to cost a bit more but this time price was one of the cheapest and the shop was close to our accomodation which is also worth considering in a large resort.

Where are you staying? There's a great independent I hired from in le Lac that seemed to be no more expensive than booking through one of the online agents.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

+1 for
