Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi snow heads!
its heavy snow in Sauze d'ould now!AAnd will be a top pop every now and then for next two weeks.Just wondering if its a good place to go to ski and aprs ski? If pistes will be covered in snow properly?Just want everything really :snow sure pistes,great weather and great skiing! its pretty much cheap place to go if i choose main stream holiday providers! What do you think?

I know they had a pretty poor start to the season - it's a great area if the links are open. I'ts not much cheaper or dearer for apres than anywhere else - I enjoyed it but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. That said If you see a cheap deal from theNorth departing this weekend I might be up for it

Have seen a couple of deals and great skiing around region incl Sestriere, Sauze d'oulx and head over to Montgenevre.. There are better places but A cheap deal is a good deal and plenty of snow.

I am looking to book a trip for 12th tomorrow, At either Cham or sauze d'oulx

Just back from the area. more snow on the pistes than they knew what to do with...so, now would be a great time to go.

I just got back this morning.

Excellent time to go. In Sportina, I reckon they got 2 meters last week, that I saw anyway....

San Sicario and Sestriere were also in excellent condition.

Didn't venture much further than that, we were having too much fun tree skiing.
