Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I'm in Soll that week as well, can't wait! however slightly concerned about the high temperatures I'm seeing on Bergfex today....12degrees and sunny. Not good. Time to ditch a few fleeces ,add a couple more t shirts and start the après a bit earlier in the day! Toofy Grin

I was there a few weeks ago. Unless you are after 'monster skiing' and heading to Kitzbuhel via Westendorf (in which case you need the Kitzbuhler All Star pass), I would just stick to the 280kms Ski Welt pass, which is pretty good value. You've got all week to head one way to Ellmau/ Going or the other way, to Westendorf, which is excellent. It was pretty warm when we were there but the slopes held up reasonably well, especially around the Scheffau area, with the valley run being a particular favourite.

For Apres in Soll you will probably end up at the Moonlite Bar or Hexenalm at the bottom of the slopes, both do typical Austrian Apres, with the former especially lively on Saturday. There are one or two decent places in the village with live music and everyone tends to end up at the Whiskey Muhler. Every restaurant we went to, on and off the slopes, offered great standard of food and VFM.

You should have an awesome time. Enjoy!

There is an apres ski bus this season. So you can get over to Ellmau and Going spend time Skiing that area and not have to worry about rushing back. Last one back is just after 6pm I seem to recall.
