Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski touring (and downhill) on Greenland - any recommendations?

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi - I'd love to try some ski-touring in Greenland.
Had a quick Google and there seems to be some companies that offer it it but I wondered if anyone round these parts has ever been?
Also, anyone know about any downhill there? From what I can gather, there's just the odd tow dotted about.
Any info much appreciated.
Thanks.

@Neil Neige, was there in 2007 with some mates in and around the Watkins Mtns. We used Paul Walker /Tangent Expeditions to cover our logistics (food/fuel/flights). They have a programme of guided trips as far as I know. Would highly recommend - Paul has been running trips to various parts of Greenland for a long long time.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks for the reply and the recommendation - much appreciated.
Must admit, the prices are looking quite a bit more than I expected.
Thought perhaps you could do a trip (up to two weeks) for £2,000 to £3,000 but looks like it would be over £5,000.
I need Easy Jet to open up a new Greenland route!
