Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

We are all in our 40's so not looking for 4-5am clubs just a few bars / sports bars maybe a bit of Eurotrash music .

Meribel seems to be the main place and Courchevel seems to be more of a family resort??
How are the other resorts Brides les Bains, Val Thorens, La Tania, Les Menuires and St Martin de Belleville.

Eurotrash isnt a must we like at least a few bars and somewhere it wont break the bank

thanks

Try Italy

Puzzled Try Austria would be more to the point. wink Few Italian resorts have much which would qualify as "apray" for most British skiers. Per fortuna...

Agreed @pam w, If you want Apres, you want Austria. The only resort I've been to in Italy that is close is Sauze, which is currently having a shocker of a season snow wise, it seems.

Heading to VT next week, having been once before. Decent Apres ski with a variety of bars etc in town. On the mountain I enjoy 360 over the Folie, however both are fairly lively with DJ's etc.

I recommend Funky Fox in Courch 1650. A few other decent places such as Boulette and Bubble Bar as well

Meribel has the Rond Point just below the Rhodos lift middle station with live music most afternoons and a nice big sunny terrace and an easy ski back down into the Chaudanne at the end.

So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

+1 for Courchevel 1650. We watched some rugby internationals in the bar just across the road from the lift station and as J9 says there are a few other bars......but not a rowdy place.
