Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

We've been going to Corvara for a few years now but haven't seem to have found anywhere to 'join in'. We end up having early nights. We stay in the Posta Zirm.

@erica2004, When I went some years ago with Colletts I loved the area but found apres somewhat lacking. We just used the honesty bar there with the other guests

Is there no apres at the round bar at the bottom of the yellow chair? I've not stayed in Corvara proper, but that strikes me as the kind of place you might find it.

I think snow conditions are probably best they've been all year. Some recent snow last week (and today) with more to come this week.

I think the only apres ski is L'murin. The Inghams rep says it looks like a barn around the back of the old church. I'm sure you can find more details on Google.

Yeah - the little hut at the bottom of the Boe station and the shed on the home run. There is a nice bar on the way down the piste to Corvara where you can sit in the sun. There aren't any umbrella bars such as you would find in Lech. I asked the hotel barman about this and his reply was that the guests don't want it. Shame!
@Kiters, I think the snow is ok on piste. We're going at the weekend.

Yes L'Murin is the only proper Apres bar in Corvara itself now. Located just to the side of/behind the La Perla hotel. You can ski to it from both blue runs 5 and 8 that go down into Corvara.

The round wooden bar near to the Boe/Colfosco gondola stations is not what I would call an apres bar. Least not when I was there.

On the mountain, there is apres at La baita restaurant/bar from mid afternoon. And just down from there, a lot of people stop at Capanna nera hut which does have loud apres type music but I never saw anyone dancing when I was there.

@erica2004, It's been a few years since I've been, but the chalet madrisa can have lively tea-time après, and a little later the (Ice?) bar in the Col Alto can be a great place.
