Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Cheap Accommodation Feb 18th - 22nd Tyrol

Hi,

There are some cheap flights at the end of half term week into Munich and so have been given permission by Mrs T to take by 7 year old for a Daddy/Daughter long weekend.

Anyone know of good accommodation not restricted to Saturday - Saturday preferably without too much schlepping as will have 7 year old in tow! Obviously somewhere family friendly required.

@TallGuyUK, Have a look at Tiscover.com - Lots of accommodation available throughout Austria.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@TallGuyUK, pick an area then contact the Tourist Office and see what comes back. The trouble with a long weekend at that particular time (week of the 6th to 13th) is that it is the highest of highest seasons in austria. If it is the weekend of the 20th you may be a bit luckier. There are way more people staying odd times here in my hotel even in New Year week.

I use Booking.com to check places out, then contact the accommodation via their web site to ask for a non-binding offer (unverbindliche Angebote).

AirBnB might also be a good bet for non-standard dates.
