Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone returned or repaired Hestra gloves?

I have a pair of army gore tex hestra gloves and the the leather has worn through on the stitching right on the top of the index finger.

I have read some mixed reviews of Hestra sorting these things out for no cost (due to some sort of lifetime warranty) and not helping at all.

Anyone returned stuff or had it repaired by hestra? If so did they do it for free or minimal cost? (These are quite a few years old now but not been really abused, so a bit annoyed they have gone already).

Otherwise anyone know of a reasonable repair service that could get them fixed?

Aquasure will fix it. Use it on my gloves in places like this.

I actually have a tube of that knocking about, I used it on our inflatable kayak. However, despite what it says I don't remember it being that flexible when I last used it. I might have to dig it out and try it on something to make sure it won't make the finger solid!

@ish303, I always find it is flexible. Also use it on wetsuits, small scuffs on jackets etc.

Top tip. Store it in the freezer to stop it going off.
