Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Les Arc 1800 Ski Schools

We are staying in Arc 1800 and it would appear our only ski school options for our 9yr old Daughter are ESF or Arc Adventures, has anybody had any direct experience with either of these in this resort and what are your preferences? We are still considering private lessons but my daughter has said she would rather be with other children

Thanks in advance.

Hi, we are out in LA next week and have been recommended some private lessons with JP at http://www.ski-aim.com/#!ski-and-snowboard-lessons/c66t

I will happily let you know how it goes and recommend accordingly.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks Nick, yes we have had the same recommendation and are still considering it. Isabelle would rather be in a group with other kids so are still exploring that option.

Thanks Again

I have used Arc Adventures quite a bit over the years for rafting, canyoning and off piste ski guiding. I like them. But then again my friends who have had ski lessons with ESF in 1800 thought they were good as well.

I gather that Evolution 2 also have a branch in Arc 1800.

To be honest if I were your daughter I would also prefer group lessons.
