Evening snow heads!
We've just booked flights to Barcelona for the easter Bank hols and are planning to go to Andorra, but we don't know which resort.
I board whilst my fiancee skis. We're both at a similar standard where we can and will ski blacks but aren't necessarily looking for majorly technical stuff. We are really looking for
Some varied runs and a decent bit of atmosphere / apres whilst not out for the getting hammered .
Any recommendations?

Soldeu or El Tarter in Gran Valira, ive stayed in both and would favour Soldeu , has some decent bar and restaurants plus a couple of clubs, and is the central part of the ski area. Pas is linked but not as nice to stay in IMHO, and has a bit if a rowdy reputation but OK if there's a good deal.
Arinsal area is not as challenging and more family suited, but I've no first hand experience of it.

Huge skiing area with lots of variety to keep you busy! And decent apres in soldeu that's not too OTT.

Pas de la Casa tends to be the younger crowd. Not a lot of apres in El Tarter. Not sure about Soldeu for apres. As all three are in the Granvilara area, plenty of slopes to satisfy you both.
As its towards the end of the season, you probably want to aim for a Granvilara resort to get benefits of the altitude. Pas de la Casa is at 2100m but south facing slopes can be slushy if its sunny. However, taking lift to to top, access down into Grau Roig is north facing.

El Tarter is pretty dead, to the point that for decent apres you'll end up bussing to Soldeu or Pas. That said both Soldeu and Pas are good.

Another vote for Soldeu - though you'll want to get yourself to the Abarset open-air DJ bar next to the slopes / car park in El Tarter on one of the weekend afternoons. It runs from 4pm until 9ish. You can easily bus it back to Soldeu, although it's maybe just about walkable in ski boots too.

I prefer the Spanish side - Pal, Arinsal and Arcalis. Less developed and prettier. Less extensive skiing but more varied.

Both of the above are good suggestions too, though you'll want to check the snow cover at La Molina (which is lift-linked to Masella and with a common pass - though you have to ask for it specially) before committing, given the time of year that you're going. But you won't find much in the way of Après at either, except for Arinsal which has pretty dull skiing - although it's at least connected by cable car to Pal.
I do recommend Vallnord (the umbrella name for Pal, Arinsal and Arcalís) on here sometimes, but usually in response to other requirements such as off-piste & tree skiing, family skiing (Pal), young adult first-timers (Arinsal), off-the-beaten-track/wilderness (Arcalís), etc.
